Whale hunters from the northern reaches of Canada, the Thule were a hardy group of people that lived in whalebone dwellings and subsisted off whale hunting. The societal structure was built around the act of the hunt and the chief was often in a leadership position due to the ability to successfully lead a group of whale hunters to glory.

I have been thinking a lot about how models are a visualization technique that we use for making meaning of our experience. As my own adventure with the first 100-day modeling challenge came to completion I believed I needed to look back at what my goals were. It was to capture something unique that was a result of the information I have been gathering over the past 5 years of being a student. The whales to me represent the aha moment that we all strive for when embarking on quests of creation. The Thule took this idea to the next level and the competitive atmosphere that developed in the northern dreamland is a testament to the glory of capturing the whale of consciousness.
The Chase Is On
Thule Hunters risk the frozen arctic waters to revel in the glory of the whale hunt. Will the Chief lead them to victory?
The whale has always struck me as this entity that is larger than life and represents an aspect of freedom that we may not experience in our day-to-day lives as often as we would like. The whale as a symbol of conscious freedom is what moves me to want to continue to create as there will always be another day and another whale. Always another chance to liberate yourself and rise to hunt down your freedom again. All I know is each day the fight for the successful whale hunt must be completed and it takes time, energy a level of coherence that can only be crafted with discipline and resilience to take the next step. Whatever you choose to do, push hard, and strive to be the best!
