Labros Entrance in Pixel Art

Everyone should learn how to make pixel art in blender as it allows creators to put a unique spin on models and the environment. I personally love when I’ve finished a scene and rendered a creature or something out with the crisp linework only to turn around and pump out a low res pixel image. Some tweaks are necessary but I am having fun learning! Once I figure out a workflow for a higher-res pixel render I will make and post a proper protocol!

For now, turn that resolution down to 200 x 200, turn the render passes to 1, film to .2 and switch the camera to orthographic at a forty-five angle from the center object, and voila! Oh and don’t forget to turn the light to sun and put the intensity at 3 😉 It works with other lights but I find a low sun like this makes the shadows look very clean.
